Dave is a management consultant with professional training in business coaching. He partners with leaders to increase their self-awareness, optimizing effectiveness while pursuing a healthy work/life balance. Having experienced seven corporate moves across the country during his career within the insurance industry, Dave has a sound appreciation for the need to generate results while quickly learning a new operation and its culture.
With over thirty years of business experience, Dave has held a variety of executive positions with growth and profit responsbilities, including Regional Vice President for a billion-dollar branch that gained market share for all five years under Dave's leadership. He has taken an active role in talent development of individuals and teams throughout his career. Dave helped design and implement several leadership programs, with an emphasis on personal accountability and team effectiveness.
He is currently teaching in the North Carolina Universities' Business Coaching Certification program, and serves as a pro- bono consultant to non-profits through the Executive Service Corps. Dave is a graduate of Ohio University, holds the CPCU, ARM, and CLU professional designations and has completed executive education programs with the Center for Creative Leadership, UVA's Darden School, Harvard and the University of Chicago.
